To all Kaapjag's members, my very best wishes and blessings for the coming Christmas season.

May every hunter, sport shooter and firearm owner in our beautiful country experience at this time that our common interest and our reverence for our Creator and the creation bind us together. May each of you and your loved ones experience the miracle of Christ during the welcome respite that awaits us. May you be safe and have a very prosperous new year.

My wish is that, despite the challenges and the dark clouds on the horizon, we will be able to continue living out our interests unhindered, whether it is hunting or shooting.

My wish is that we will be focused on serving the cause in unity.

Let us each realise that the threat to our freedoms is not just a scare tactic and that the onslaught continues unabated by authorities, institutions and people who want to deprive you of your rights just because it is not in line with their own view of life.

We will not be able to survive this onslaught by focusing on our own narrow interests or by believing that the threat is still too distant to warrant concern. ‍

Serve the interests of co-hunters, shooters and firearm owners by supporting Kaapjag. The work that the EXCO, branch management, and every portfolio must do requires your continued support!

For their support and hard work, I thank you, my fellow EXCO members, the men and women who keep the branches going and everyone who works behind the scenes to protect our freedoms. Many thanks to every member who faithfully pays their membership fees and supports our activities. These contributions allow us to fight the battle, benefiting all.

Aan al Kaapjag se lede, my allerbeste wense en seën vir die Kersgety wat voor die deur lê.  

Mag elke jagter, sportskut en vuurwapeneienaar in ons mooi land, in hierdie tyd ervaar dat ons saamgebind word deur ons gemeenskaplike belangstelling en ons eerbied vir ons Skepper en dieskepping. Mag elkeen van u en u geliefdes, die wonder van die Christusfeesbeleef tydens die welkome ruskans wat ons tegemoet gaan. Mag u veilig wees en‘n baie voorspoedige nuwe jaar beleef.

My wens is, dat ons ten spyte van die uitdagings en die donker wolke op die horison, sal kan voortgaan om ongehinderd ons belangstelling uit te leef, of dit jag en of dit skiet is.

My wens is, dat ons gefokus die saak sal dien en dit eensgesind sal doen.

Laat ons elkeen besef dat die bedreiging van ons vryhede nie net 'n bangmaakstorie is nie en dat die aanslag onverpoos voortgaan deur owerhede, instellings en mense wat jou wil ontneem van jou regte net omdat dit nie strook met hul eie lewensbeskouing nie.

Ons sal nie hierdie aanslag kan oorleef deur te fokus op ons eie eng belange nie, of deur te glo dat die bedreiging nog te ver is om oor bekommerd te raak nie.

‍Dien die belange van medeagters, -skuts en vuurwapeneienaars deur Kaapjag te ondersteun. Die werk wat die dagbestuur, takbesture en elkeportefeulje moet doen, vereis jou voortgesette ondersteuning.

Baie dankie aan my mededagbestuur, die manne en dames wat die takke aan die gang hou en elkeen wat agter die skerms werk om ons vryhede te beskerm vir hul ondersteuning en harde werk. Baie dankie aan elke lid wie hul ledegelde getrou betaal en ons aktiwiteite ondersteun. Hierdie bydraes stel ons in staat om die stryd, ten bate van almal, voort te sit.
